The first video below is a tutorial of how to accomplish a “Timed Static Contraction,” which you will be using for the first two exercises.
Please note: You will NOT be performing the isometric pullover exercise seen on this video…it is used to demonstrate the concept of “Timed Static Contraction” only.
Technical note: adduction is pulling your knees together, and abduction is pushing your knees away from each other.
The way I was taught to remember the difference is that you “add together.”
